Something Every Playboy Needs: Gun Training

Gun training is not the first thing on everyone's lips when they think of what playboys are known for. Americans seem to have a funny perception of what a gun enthusiast looks like: probably something like a 'good ole boy' from down south with a mullet, 12-guage and a mean drawl. Where did this ignorant pre-conception come from? In any case, the idea is there, and that's what makes a job like the one belonging to Dr. Ignatius Piazza, founder and director of Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, so difficult. Dr. Piazza faces ignorance like this on a regular basis, seeing as he runs the nation's most successful, largest firearms training school. Every year, Front Sight trains more students than all other gun training schools in America combined. Small wonder, then that Dr. Piazza faces ignorance and prejudice concerning guns and firearms training on a daily basis.

Gun training isn't for the kinds of people that the average person thinks of when they think of gun enthusiast. Gun training is for capable, responsible, in-control men and women who want to stay in control of their lives and don't want to be made the effect of some potentially psychopathic gunman. Front Sight is of the opinion that firearms training is something that every American should have access to and should utilize. To Dr. Piazza and Front Sight, firearms training is little more than self defense training: those who reach for it and get it are those who are aware that getting effective self defense training is the only way to prevent the increasingly potential situation of being assaulted by an armed criminal.

Dr. Ignatius Piazza and Front Sight encourage all Americans to get firearms training, for what else will keep a man or a woman safe in the event of being held at gunpoint or threatened to be held at gunpoint?
