Handgun Training - An Uzi: Not Your Average Handgun

Front Sight Firearms Training Institute is the leader of the firearms training industry. As if its near-perfect safety record (the only safety incident being a piece of brass striking a student in 1999); its excellent instructor-to-student ratio (Dr. Ignatius Piazza, the founder and director, demands a 3- or 4-to-1 ratio in all introductory and beginner classes, with the ratio usually being closer to 2-to-1 in more advanced classes); its excellent success in recent years (Front Sight trains more gun training students annually than all other shooting schools in America combined); or its impressive return rate (95% of Front Sight's students return within 6 months for their next course) wouldn't bring students flocking to it from across the world (which it does), Front Sight also occasionally offers an free introductory submachine gun course, not quite your average handgun training course, that's for sure.

It is from one of these courses that we get the article in Playboy magazine on Dr. Piazza and his $25 million residential community project of Front Sight. Dr. Piazza envisions Front Sight to be the Pebble Beach of firearms, he hopes to have a complete gated community anchored by 20 state-of-the-art firing ranges, not a golf course. In addition to the ranges, Piazza has started work on a five-story urban tactics tower, an airstrip for private jets of VIPs, celebrities and politicians, a 1000-yard rifle range and an enormous gymnasium for unarmed self defense training.

Since most Americans never need the kind of handgun training that entails fully automatic weaponry, Front Sight offers Rifle, Shotgun, Special Pistol, Unarmed (Self Defense) and handgun training, all from world-class instructors teaching course material that is 'street-proven' and absolutely top-notch.

Dr. Piazza and Front Sight constantly make it a point that a gun is a tool, the user is the weapon, and as soon as one feels the "Front Sight Experience", they'll understand the true meaning of Front Sight's motto: "Any gun will do – if you will do!"
